Ultra Distortion humbucker model, with neodymium magnets, wound and assembled by hand.

For the bridge position, it's dedicated to those who were not completely satisfied by humbuckers equipped with ceramic magnets or in AlNiCo or were looking for an alternative pickup that will be surely surprising.

Even if it has his musical genres of choice from hard rock to heavy metal, given his four-wire wiring and therefore the ability to play in split mode, it's still very versatile, with both the distorted nd clean sounds.

Like any other neodymium pickup of good quality, it allows you to feel from your guitar nuances and details that models equipped with traditional magnets often do not highlight.

Waxing performed in a paraffin bath mixed with beeswax, which gives the right amount of elasticity necessary for maintaining immunity against unwanted squeal over time.

Pole spacing: 52 mm.

Total series resistance of the coils (connected in series): 19,6 Kohm.

The north coil directs the magnetic south pole towards the strings; opposite orientation for the south coil.

Humbucker modello Ultra Distortion, con magneti al neodimio, avvolto e assemblato a mano.

Per la posizione ponte, è dedicato a chi non si ritenesse del tutto soddisfatto da humbucker equipaggiati con magneti ceramici oppure in AlNiCo o fosse alla ricerca di un pickup alternativo che si rivelera' senz'altro sorprendente.

Pur spaziando i suoi generi musicali d'elezione dall'hard rock all'heavy metal, dato il suo cablaggio a quattro fili e quindi la possibilità di suonarci in modalità split, è comunque molto versatile, tanto con i suoni distorti che con i puliti.

Come ogni altro pickup al neodimio di buona fattezza, permette di tirare fuori dalla propria chitarra sfumature sonore e dettagli che i modelli equipaggiati con magneti tradizionali spesso non evidenziano.

Ceratura eseguita in bagno di paraffina miscelata a cera d'api, che conferisce la giusta dose di elasticità necessaria al mantenimento nel tempo dell'immunità verso l'innesco di fischi indesiderati.

Spaziatura poli: 52mm

Filo smaltato AWG 44.

Resistenza serie totale delle bobine (connesse in serie): 19,6 Kohm.

La bobina nord rivolge il polo sud magnetico verso le corde; orientamento opposto per la bobina sud.

MINI P90 MkIII - Handmade Strat sized Neodymium Pickup for Bridge position

 

Handmade pickup for bridge position, suitable for direct replacement of Strat sized pickups, with no need for any adaptation. It is particularly dedicated to those who love the typical tone of the P90 but are not willing to adapt the body of their guitar and / or to accept the aesthetic change.

The bobbin (which has physical characteristics identical to those of the P90, except for his lateral extension) was wound by guiding the wire by hand. Unlike the MINI P90 MkI and HALF DOLLAR models, the MINI P90 MkIIIs are wound using AWG44 wire instead of AWG42.

 

This means that since the wire is thinner (0.050 mm instead of 0.063 mm), a greater number of turns can be wound on the same type of coil used for the MINI P90s. Consequently, thanks also to a powerful neodymium magnetic system, the output level boasted by this pickup is unknown to the vast majority of other existing single coils, including P90 in standard format (especially if equipped with AlNiCo magnets). Output levels aside, compared to the MINI P90 MkI voicing is characterized by a greater emphasis on medium-low frequencies, due to the resonance peak of the coil characterized, in fact, by a greater number of turns.

The Rs of this pickup is 12.6 Kohm (measured at an ambient temperature of 26 ° C).

 

MINI P90 MkIII are also available for the central position (Rs = 11.8 Kohm) and for the neck position (Rs = 11.4 Kohm) and each pickup can also be requested in black or cream. The pickup for the middle position is RWRP compared to the others.

The waxing was carried out in a mixture of paraffin and beeswax (3: 1 w / w), to ensure immunity against any unwanted squeal, maintained over time.

The connection cable is shielded.

Pre-wired handmade pickguard, on 3 ply PEARL WHITE plate with WHITE pickups, covers (closed) and knobs. On demand, can change white pickup covers and knobs with black ones, without price changes.

Mounted pickups are hand wound and equipped with neodymum magnets.

CONTROLS:

- VOLUME (A500K, Alpha), equipped with full range treble bleed;

- TONES (both A500K with 22 nF / 100V MKP capacitor). The second knob acts on the neck HB and on the central single coil, while the third knob acts only on the bridge HB;

- Five-way selector;

• Push-pull switch of the second tone knob (neck and central pickups tone control): pulling this knob, independently of the position taken by the 5-way selector, the connection in parallel between the two pick-ups on the neck and bridge will be configured, by excluding the middle Strat single coil. In this configuration the two humbuckers can still be kept in both FULL and SPLIT operation (in the latter case both push-pull knobs will be raised).
• Push-pull switch of the third knob (tone at the bridge HB): by pulling this knob, in both humbuckers will remain working only the NORTH coil (SPLIT mode). If the knob is pressed down, both HB coils become active (thus restoring them in full operation and with the relative coils connected in series: FULL mode).

The pickups were wound and assembled by hand (scattered wound) and equipped with ceramic magnets. Then they were waxed in a paraffin and beeswax bath.

Continuous coil resistances: NECK HB 18 Kohm in full operation; MIDDLE SINGLE COIL 9 Kohm; BRIDGE HB 19 Kohm in full operation.

Magnets are NEODYMIUM.

Wire used: AWG44

The pickups are shielded with tinned copper sheet (see attached pics) and supplied with shielded cables. The back of the pickguard is entirely shielded with aluminum foil.

This product, already particularly versatile, guarantees modern and powerful sounds without the need to install (and therefore replace later ...) any type of battery, thanks to its hand-wound pickups equipped with neodymium magnets.

Battipenna artigianale precablato, su placca 3 ply BIANCO MADREPERLA con pickup, cover (chiuse) e manopole di colore BIANCO.

CONTROLLI:

- VOLUME (A500K, Alpha), dotato di full range treble bleed (più complessa dei tipi aventi, oltre all'ovvio potenziometro del volume, solo un condensatore oppure un condensatore con un resistore, in serie o in parallelo che sia);

- TONI (entrambi A500K con condensatore da 22 nF/100V MKP). La seconda manopola agisce sul tono dell'HB al manico e sul single coil centrale, mentre la terza agisce solo sul tono dell'HB al ponte;

- Selettore a cinque vie;

- Switch push-pull della seconda manopola (tono dei pickup manico e centrale): tirando su la manopola, indipendentemente dalla posizione assunta dal selettore 5 way si configura la connessione in parallelo fra i due pickup manico e ponte, con esclusione del single coil centrale. In questa configurazione i due humbucker possono essere comunque tenuti sia in FULL COIL che splittati (in quest'ultimo caso si avranno entrambe le manopole dei push-pull sollevate).

• Switch push-pull della terza manopola del tono (tono dell'HB al ponte): tirando su la manopola (pull), nei due HB rimangono funzionanti le sole bobine NORD (modalità SPLIT). Se la manopola viene premuta in giù (push) si rendono attive entrambe le bobine degli HB (ripristinandoli, quindi, nel funzionamento pieno e con le relative bobine connesse in serie: modalità FULL).

I pickup sono stati avvolti e assemblati a mano e sono dotati di magneti al NEODIMIO. Quindi sono stati cerati in bagno di paraffina e cera d'api. Sono tutti schermati con foglio di rame stagnato (vedere foto allegate) e forniti di cavetti pure schermati. Il retro del battipenna è interamente schermato con foglio di alluminio.

Resistenze in continua delle bobine: HB al manico 18 Kohm in funzionamento pieno; SC CENTRALE 9 Kohm; HB al PONTE 19 Kohm in funzionamento pieno. Lo Strat single coil centrale e' RWRP rispetto alle bobine NORD di entrambi gli humbucker.

Filo utilizzato: AWG44.

Questo prodotto, già particolarmente versatile, garantisce suoni moderni e potenti senza la necessità di installare (e quindi sostituire successivamente ...) alcun tipo di batteria, grazie ai suoi pickup, avvolti a mano e dotati di magneti al neodimio.

SET OF HANDMADE PASSIVE PICKUPS (P + J STYLE) WITH NEODYMIUM MAGNETS FOR FOUR-STRINGf ELECTRIC BASS

Set of passive pickups neck + bridge (in P + J style) for four-string electric bass. They were wound by guiding the wire by hand, in both cases AWG 42 (0.063mm in diameter) and equipped with neodymium magnets.

The NECK pickup has series resistance (Rs) of 13.2 Kohm, the BRIDGE pickup of 8.8 Kohm. The generously overwound coils, together with also proportionally sized magnetic assemblies, characterize these pickups for output levels unknown to the majority of passive single coil bass pickups, without giving up a balanced tone over the entire frequency range concerning the instrument. Frequency range which, thanks to the use of neodymium magnets, is however more extensive than those guaranteed by both passive and active pickups, equipped with traditional types of magnets.

The neck pickup (type P) has the two halves made in Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity mode one with respect to the other.

The waxing was carried out in a paraffin and beeswax bath.

Set di pickup passivi manico + ponte (in formato P + J) per basso elettrico a quattro corde. Sono stati avvolti guidandone il filo a mano, in entrambi i casi AWG 42 (0,063mm di diametro) e dotati di magneti al neodimio.

Il pickup al MANICO ha resistenza serie (Rs) di 13,2 Kohm, il pickup al PONTE di 8,8 Kohm. Le bobine generosamente sovravvolte, unitamente a complessi magnetici pure proporzionalmente dimensionati, caratterizzano questi pickup per livelli di uscita sconosciuti alla maggioranza dei pickup single coil passivi per basso, senza rinunciare ad un equilibrio timbrico bilanciato su tutta la gamma di frequenze riguardanti lo strumento. Gamma di frequenze che, grazie all'impiego dei magneti al neodimio, è comunque più estesa rispetto a quelle garantite da pickup, sia passivi che attivi, dotati di tipi di magneti tradizionali.

Il pickup per il manico (tipo P) ha le due metà realizzate in modo Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity.

La ceratura è stata effettuata in bagno di paraffina e cera d'api.
