Handmade loaded Strat pickguard, with 3-ply Black plate (ASAR ceramic SSS Mk II mod.).
Possible pickup configurations permitted are eleven.
CONTROLS:
- VOLUME (A500K, ALPHA), equipped with dynamic treble bleed (ASAR version): the sound remains exactly the same at every volume level, absolutely equal as that obtained when the volume knob is held at the maximum level (10). Even if the knob is set just to 1 or less! It only changes the volume, not the tone ... like any treble bleed mod worthy of this name should do (this result was obtained by adding a more component, in addition to the usual capacitor and resistor).
- TONE (A500K push pull, with a 22nF MKP capacitor). Works with neck and middle pickups;
- TONE (A500K, with a 22nF MKP capacitor). Works with bridge pickup;
- 5-way switch (pickup selector);
- ON/ON toggle switch, placed near to the 5-way switch. Moving the lever of this switch toward the neck, excludes the middle pickup connecting, at the same time, the bridge pickup in parallel with the neck pickup (irrespective of these pickups are coil tap or full coil), provided that the 5 way selector is in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th position;
- push pull switch to the tone knob: controls the coil tap to the coils of the neck and bridge pickup. If the knob is kept lowered, the quantity of coils wire which remains in operation makes the pickups timbrically balanced with the middle, in order to obtain sounds belonging to the characteristically Strat sphere; with the knob raised, the whole coils are activated, for a more powerful sound and characterized by a greater presence of medium-low frequencies.
All the pickups have been assembled and wound by hand with AWG42 wire (the middle pickup is RWRP compared to the other two). Then they were waxed with a mixture of paraffin and beeswax, to avoid the occurrence of any problem of microphony (squeal). ALL ARE EQUIPPED WITH CERAMIC (FERRITE) MAGNETS.
Pickup coil resistances: NECK (coil tap) 6 Kohm / (full coil) 10 Kohm; MIDDLE 6 Kohm; BRIDGE (coil tap) 6.2 Kohm / (full coil) 10.8 Kohm.
All the pickups have the coils completely shielded by an aluminum foil, for an effective reduction of the picked up disturbances. Everyone are equipped with professional coaxial cables.

BATTIPENNA PICKGUARD NERO SSS CON PICKUP CERAMICI, COIL TAP A MANICO E PONTE E TREBLE BLEED
Battipenna artigianale precablato, su placca Strat 3 ply NERA.
Senza variazione di prezzo, per la placca sono disponibili anche i colori: red tortoise, nero madrepelaceo, bianco madreperlaceo.
Le cover e le manopole, sono disponibili anche nei colori: crema, verde, nero, manopole cilindriche cromate.
Le configurazioni di pickup possibili sono undici.
CONTROLLI:
- VOLUME (500KA, Alpha), dotato di treble bleed dinamica (versione ASAR);
- PRIMO TONO (500KA push-pull, con condensatore da 22 nF/100V MKP). Agisce sul pickup al manico e sul centrale;
- SECONDO TONO (500KA, con condensatore da 22 nF/100V MKP). Agisce sul pickup al ponte;
- Selettore pickup a cinque vie;
- Switch a levetta ON/ON posto vicino al selettore dei pickup (Telecaster mod.). Spostando la levetta verso il manico esclude il pickup centrale connettendo, contemporaneamente, il pickup al manico in parallelo con quello al ponte (indipendentemente dal fatto che questi siano coil tappati o in full coil), a condizione che il selettore 5 way si trovi in 2°,3° o 4° posizione.
Tutti i pickup sono stati assemblati e avvolti a mano con filo AWG42 (Il pickup centrale è RWRP rispetto agli altri due). Quindi sono stati cerati con bagno in miscela di paraffina e cera d'api, per evitare l'insorgere di qualsiasi problema di microfonicità (squeal). Sono tutti dotati di magneti ceramici (ferrite).
Resistenze in continua: MANICO (coil tappato) 6 Kohm / (full coil) 10 Kohm; CENTRALE 6 Kohm; PONTE (coil tappato) 6,25 Kohm / (full coil) 10,8 Kohm.
Tutti i pickup hanno le bobine completamente schermate da un rivestimento in foglio di alluminio (vedi foto) per una efficace riduzione dei disturbi captati.
I pickup sono forniti di cavetti coassiali professionali.
